The Fabulist, which has more regular online issues, now has its second print issue. My story is in that. Their site keeps you up to date on where you may see them in person in the Bay Area. You can order the Fabulist for 10 dollars, and it has wild art too!

This blog so far mostly mentions announcements about this site and submissions openings, a few of my publications, and reviews that I do of innovative literary books, and things along those lines. I haven't kept it up for a good while, but am going back to it again, hello.

Who am I?

I put this resource site together, edited Exclusive Magazine, put out people's e-chapbooks through LucidPlay, teach Fiction Writing through UCLA Ex. Writing Program, Writers College, and my own academy online, where I specialize in innovative literary fiction, which I edit as well. Please check out my website if you're interested.

I have books out including a chapbook from ISMs Press, called The Cabinet of What You Don't See, Lucid Membrane, from Night Publishing, and Collapsible Horizon. Best way to buy them is just shoot me an email if you like.

Make-Do Publishing will be putting out my short story in the future, and Dog Horn Publishing will put out my novel. I'm also nearing 200 poetry and short story publications in journals, as well as 4 novelettes.

I have an MA in English from FSU and an MFA from the Iowa Writers Workshop. I've won several awards, and written a lot of literary theory. Non-traditional literature has been a passion of mine all my life.

I haven't always had the chance to focus on it, as I've done many other things. One of them has been art; the images you see on any of my websites are mine, and I was equally diligent about publishing and showing my art as I was my writing. I was Art Director for Mad Hatters Review, and the artist for MKZine.
I live in Berkeley, CA.
