And in it is a call for new work for the upcoming issue. I described what Lucid FIction is on the home page and the submissions page and also there is a list of links of some of the articles and interviews on the subject. This is exciting to me, taking this visionary genre of consciousness exploration and social change, breaking new literary ground, to a new level.
As you may know I instigated a genre called Lucid Fiction and many wonderful writers have taken an interest in this, as well as editors. Jennifer Bowles, of Medulla Review, is a kindred spirit, and decided she wanted to devote an issue of her magazine to Lucid Fiction, as well as prosetry. And she asked me to co-edit it. So, the new issue is out, for you to enjoy. My story, Slice of Lifeforce, is now up with its own page, as it won the award. It takes place on the land in rural Alabama, the old homestead. You can see a photo I took very near to it, and listen to music composed and recorded at it. The song is called The Water Bearers, by The Ruby Fire Household Orchestra, which for that song consisted of Paul C Wilm and myself. The editor and I did a dialog which we hope to see published. I'll be co editing an issue soon of her Medulla Review, that contains Lucid Fiction! My "Consciousness Tells You a Story" is now published by Medulla Review. Consciousness itself plays a key role in this story, as it speaks, and things happen around the conversation that echo the elaborate story it's telling about synchronicity, and more. Jennifer Bowles, the editor, and I had a dialog after she accepted this story which we can look forward to seeing in print. |
