This is a resource site for Innovative Literature.
In the About Experimental Writing section, there are an inordinate number of links for non-traditional literature related presses, websites, magazines, articles, books, groups, stories, and more. These are gathered for the sake of promoting understanding of and insight into Avant garde writing, ease of discovering it, publishing it, and connecting with others interested in it.
Exclusive Magazine presents literature, with commentary by the authors on the experimental nature of each piece. Issue 1 links to the other issues, which are put together with a little more sophistication with unique websites for each issue. They includes commentary on the non-traditional literary scene. This magazine ran long enough it seemed to demonstrate a lot of methods of exploration as epitomized by the short stories and poems.
LucidPlay Publishing puts out e-chapbooks of innovative literature, and more. One is currently being compiled, so submissions, especially from women, are encouraged, of writing that contains exquisite use of language, attention to musicality, and form imparting meaning. Later, single person chapbooks will include print.
Study or receive suggestions on your writing: Editing services, one on one coaching, individual and group classes are available. It's time for setting up the next group online class. The first person who commits to a 5 or 10 week course gets to chose the starting date. (One on one study is available at all times.)
Contest: Innovative Flash Fiction contest open, June 1 through September 1.
The Showcase: is brand new, a place for one special thing, including text and film. This will change sporadically and you are encouraged to let us hear your thoughts in the snow-fresh forum.
