This is a resource site for Innovative Literature.
The heart of this site is the massive About Experimental Writing section, where there are an inordinate number of links for non-traditional literature related presses, websites, magazines, articles, books, groups, stories, and more. These are gathered for the sake of promoting understanding of and insight into Avant-garde writing, ease of discovering it, publishing it, and connecting with others interested in it. Enjoy.
New links very frequently happen at the Facebook Page. If you're interested in calls for submission, important new publications, award announcements, networking with authors, etc., "like" the page to get the delivers in your newsfeed.
Exclusive Magazine presented literature, with commentary by the authors on the experimental nature of each piece. Issue 1 links to the other issues, which were put together with a little more sophistication with unique websites for each issue. They include commentary on the non-traditional literary scene. This magazine ran long enough it seemed to demonstrate a lot of methods of exploration as epitomized by the short stories and poems. It will be revised soon to more appealing presentation. The first issue grew out of presenting individual pieces that could be found nowhere else. Later issues became more polished, and the material continued to explore the variety of ways, reasons, and methods to explore outside convention. It has been closed to submissions for a long time.
LucidPlay Publishing has put out e-books, one-off novelettes, print chapbooks, fun collaborations, and longer works. It's now focusing on its imprint, Insubordinate Books and is no longer accepting submissions.
