There is a group of us doing something called the Stepchamber creature, and we also have a blog. It's getting going to build up momentum for the creature, coming to you May 3rd. I started something I call survey fiction, and members answered it with their fiction. Two of those have been put up: Owen Kaelin's and Alana Capira's.
Their magazine publishes 13 at a time, and mine are the top ones on the page. Intensely felt stuff, from years ago.
Four Chapters is an innovative fiction piece I'm fond of, just published in Camroc Review.
"My old father's world is going into 4 cabinets, which he rearranges constantly in the air, wanting us to organize whatever it is. He reaches his hands in the air, while we hold his blankets down. His mouth is open wide, as always, horrible sounds coming from it." This week, I've had some posts censored on Facebook, about the House of Rothschild, etc. That's fine if that's what they need to do, as it's their site. But this is mine. My poem was censored today, the URL, and quotes and the poem itself, Drum Naked. It begins with this quote.
"The Nuremberg Principles says that we in the military have not only the right, but also the DUTY to refuse an illegal order.” Based on the above, I contend that should some civilian order you to initiate a nuclear attack on Iran (for example), you are duty-bound to refuse that order. I might also suggest that you should consider whether the circumstances demand that you arrest whoever gave the order as a war criminal. By Colonel Bob Bowman (USAF Ret), Caltech PhD in Nuclear Engineering and Aeronautics, decorated combat fighter pilot (101 missions in Vietnam), and former head of Presidents Ford and Carter's 'Star Wars' program. Sept. 2007 ‘The Strike’ is an experimental novel set in a depressed factory town in the far North East of China. The novel uses a linguistic strategy which aims to subvert expectations about the correspondence between syntactic and semantic structures.
Conventional syntax shapes the way we perceive reality by encoding conceptual relations, particularly temporal relations, or causality. Words, sounds, and visions from the hungry eyes and blooming brain inside of a funky monkey. Somewhere in the jungle, she minds her flowers for the winking roses of open ears while under the influence of everything experienced.
